Last week Nearly Six Hundred Re/Max delegates from across Western Canada were “Lovin’ Every Minute” at this 80’s-themed three day event in Victoria BC February 5-7, 2009. See the YouTube Video on 25th Annual Conference
Re/ Max Agents from B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the Yukon Territories, joined to re-connect with colleagues and build new referral networks. I personally meet New and old Friends during the Three Day Conference.
Sessions included a Exhibitors Showcase, Opening Celebration, Lead Street training,Top Producer Panels and Personal Marketing Panels
Keynote speakers included Ray Zahab on Friday morning, who explores the word “challenge” on how to overcome the most insurmountable obstacles, by exploring his experience in ultra-distance foot races. Friday afternoon Dave Beson dove into real estate specific topics such as improving your referrals, networking and using technology and tools to their fullest. Finally on Saturday morning, Steve Gelliland, former director of Sales & Service for Hallmark America, discussed growing your business and expanding your life by teaching you to rethink your work, relationships and yourself.. All Speakers had some positive to add to our lives and worth every moment of their speeches. Personal I Enjoyed the Positive and uplifting ideas and suggestion given to us by Steve.. Wow !
Social Activity was Great starting On Thursday we all meet for a reception at the Conference Center's new acquired Crystal Gardens for an awesome open reception for us all, then Friday Evening We all met again to socialize and Listen and Dance to Lover Boy! Saturday was for the Re/Max Production Awards Ceremony at 5 PM...... then all of us dressed to the nine's to attend the Gala Evening Dinner at the Crystal Gardens and then back to the Victoria Conference Center to the Carson Hall for our Gala Dance featuring the Famous Players Band until 2 AM..
On Saturday Morning we all attended the Children s Miracle Network Breakfast Auction, were we bid Live for Exclusive Action items donated by Fellow Re/Max Agents, We Raised $10,000 that morning.
BC Re/Max Agents are the Largest Contributors per capita in the Whole Children s Hospital Network...Well Done BC Re/Max Agents !!
Our Time Was Jammed Full of Activities and Fun.
Yours truly had a Ball Meeting New and Old Friends, This was one of the Best Re/Max Conferences I have been to.
PS: Did I mention I created a Facebook Event Site where I uploaded photos at days end every day, so others could see our daily activity.
