Annual Christmas Lighted Truck Parade in Victoria BC on December 5th
Thousands of Victoria BC residents will come again to watch the Annual Christmas Lighted Truck Parade and Food Drive on December 5, 2009.
People are asked to bring a donation of food for the local food banks.
The Christmas Lighted Truck Parade Parade Starts at 5:45 PM at Victoria's Ogden Point Cruise Ship Terminal on Dallas road and then weaves throughout Victoria to finally end up at the Western Speedway Race Track around 8:15 PM. Christmas Lighted Truck Parade Route Map
The Parade of Big trucks put on by The Vancouver Island Equipment Owners takes about two hours to complete, a full ten minutes to watch them all drive by.
The Annual Lighted Truck Parade in Victoria is very Popular with all Victorians, last year we joined in and helped with Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Christmas cookies at Jane's ex-employer at Sands Colwood Office, the local Colwood Fire Department pickup the food donations and the motorcycle police throughout the city handled the traffic control so the trucks could travel without interruption.
