SPEECHLESS SUNDAY WATCHING THE INTERNATIONAL WAR SHIPS & FIREWORKS

Last Friday Evening we went to the watch the Fireworks and Internation Naval War Ships in Victoria to celabrate the 100th Birthday of the Canadian Navy.

I pick up a friend and we dropped into KFC  in Colwood for a Chicken box dinner then we proceeded to the Esquimalt Lagoon to enjoy the waterfront scene..

Here is my photo as the Sun disappeared of the International war ships from France, USA, New Zealand, Japan, Austrilia and Canada light up, people on the beach and in the background is the Olympic Mountains in Washington State.

Canadian Navy's 100th Birthday June 11, 2010 with a Fireworks Displayand Ship Review

On Friday June 11, I joined a friend to watch the Fireworks display from the beach at Esquimalt Lagoon waterfront in Colwood.

We arrived early to photograph the 17 Plus International Naval War Ships from USA, France, New Zealand Australia, Japan and Canada.

I  videoed the ships and of course the fireworks display. Even though there is only about 3 minutes of the fireworks the display lasted nearly one hour. The Fireworks were awesome..Well done Canada.... thousands watched and enjoyed the spectacular fireworks display from Victoria's waterfront from along the Esquimalt shoreline and along Ocean Bld from the beach at Esquimalt Lagoon.

The Sun Is Shining in Victoria and It'll be a Busy Saturday.

I'm enjoying my early Morning Unleaded Coffee and reviewing my plans for today.

  • Coffee 6 AM and Blog 
  • Grab Breakfast and then showered and dressed
  • Take Jane to her work.."It's Mothers Day tomorrow and she'll get Slamed at her Floral Design Job today and tomorrow"
  • Off to meet and let the Building Inspector into my recent sale this week...1.2 Million home in Fairfield :O))
  • Then have a Quick lunch, take my Dog "Winston" for a walk
  • 2 PM be at my New listing at 3333 Roberlack Rd (see my virtual Tour) for an OPEN HOUSE from 2-4 PM
  • Head to pickup Jane from her work, she'll be fried with all the Mothers Day Flower orders from today.
  • Home for maybe a wee Martuni  ??

Early this Week I received a call from Fellow AR member  Professional Stagging Instructor Dana Smithers who owns PRES Staging Resource Center.



Dana called me to ask if I could Help Her...I love help Damsels in Distress, or should I say I Respond to "I Need Help" .

I responded with "How can I help?" Dana went on to say she was doing a Professional Home Stagging Course in Victoria on the 20th of April and needed a couple of Homes to Stag..

Dana got my attention right away when she Said.... It's Free .She emailed me the following to confirm

We ask our clients to make a CHARITABLE DONATION on behalf of PRES Staging Resource Center. It can be any amount you want. It’s all about making a difference in the world we all live in.


I thought I have a Home i just Listed right now and  they could use some help,..after I described the house (it was half Empty) she said it would not work for a class as she needed a home that she could re-arrange existing furniture. I said to Dana , I have another New listing, and I'm meeting my Clients today...can I call you later to let you know if they will agree to having their home stagged..Dana's answer of course was sure, call me when you know.

The Rest is history, Dana is going to hold one of her week long course Class's in my Clients Home ...Staging it with her students and it'll be ready for my Marketing... talk about perfect timing.

I Took a video of the Home's current Interior and forwarded onto Dana so she could see the rooms ahead of time...

Here my Pre-Staging Video of my Colwood Listing coming May 1...I'll follow up with the Finished product in my next post about the staging.
