One of Victoria’s Oldest Neighborhoods known as the Gorge, is not only Central, but offers one of the nicest Setting to Live and raise a family. It is affectionately named after the Gorge Waterway.

The Gorge Waterway, is a freshwater body of water that heads from portage inlet to the Pacific Ocean by winding it’s way to Victoria’s Inner Harbour.

Back at the Turn of the century Victoria Residents often had regattas and Canoe Races plus swimming contests and Picnics here on Dominion Day...now Known as Canada’s Birthday every July 1

I thought I would review the residential Real Estate activities of Victoria BC in an area known by the locals as Saanich around the GORGE, an area bordered by Gorge Road Waterway to the South, Harriet Rd to the East, Burnside & Tillicum Mall to the North, Portage Inlet waterfront  to the West.

Looking for a really nice family home in the Gorge area of Saanich? Call me, homes here are affordable and sell quickly. Very central location and Great Neighbourhood. I grew up here and I went to Tillicum School. We lived at 20 Gorge Road West then and it was part of the Island Highway. Check out the Gorge Tillicum Association.

TAKE TIME TO....See What’s Going on Around YOU

In today's world we all are living in a face paced world, the days never seems to be  long enough  yet we add more things to our lives each day...

Find Time to See what is going on around you, I try and go for a walk in the mornings. I meet many others out for a morning walk, most wish me a Good Morning and I do the Same.

I notice even with others out for a walk, they do not seem to be talking time to see what’s going on around them......they seem in a hurry to get their walk or Run done to get on with the next activity planned.

I walk along an an area called the Gorge Waterway.... most morning others don’t seem to take in the Wild Life, Like the Swans that Call  the Gorge their home...As Winter heads toward Spring the Mornings are getting brighter and today I took this opportunity to video our resident Gorge Swans....Enjoy!
