I love catching this from the Esquimalt side to the Inner Harbour...fun photo!
That's an adorable boat Karen
Hi Li....This Little Ferry System is very popular with the tourist.
Cheers, thanks for stopping by:O)
Hi Karen...Come on over to Victoria, you'll love it hear, good chance to charge your batteries and take a ferry ride or two.
Cheers, thanks for stopping by :O)
Fred - indeed a little ferry - about the size of the little houseboat in one of my earlier posts
Hi Kathy...This Ferries as so efficient at carrying many passengers safely, and proven to be a popular venue in Victoria.
Fred what a fun looking boat! I love pictures of any type of boats or ships.
Too darn bad I need a passport to come ride in this huge vessel. Victoria is one of my favorite places.
Only the Congress would be dumb enough to think it's in a foreign country.
Hi Jim...People love them :O)
Cheers, thanks for stopping by.
Hi Jim...we all need passports to travel to any country world wide, apply for one soon, love to see you :O)
PS: Our governments where being to lax..with our security, we should know who is traveling into our countries from another country.
Cheers neighbour have a great day:O)
Fred -
Passports should not be required for travel into a neighboring country. A visa to stay maybe. A passport to enter Canada or Mexico OR to come back into my own country - not in a million years. And vice-versa - on both borders.
We got by very well without such a requirement for a very long time. The 9/11 terrorists were neither Canadians or Mexicans.
WE spend altogether too much money and manpower trying to keep ordinary citizens of our continent from crossing our borders and way too little attention to keeping out real threats.
Fred, I don't know about there, but here, Summer is definitely over. It's beginning to feel like Fall is also over. It's dark, ugly, cold, and extremely wet. The furnace has been turned on. Sucks. :/
As far as the passports... I hate that too. I don't have one .... yet .... but I guess I should get on that.
Hi Jim ..If I had my way there would not be a boarder between our Countries, but It's almost impossible to fight city hall, or as the saying goes, beside your picture will look good on a US Passport.
Cheers, Let start a movement to elminate the boarders in between us:O))
Hi Sylvie....I'm going g to Seattle Next week to the Active Rain Class..without a passport I could not go..so I have one for the times I want to Visit in the USA.
Summers seems to be over although it sunny and warm..not hot during the day, little or no Rain...so far :O))
Cheers
I don't think that I've ever seen such a small ferry boat. Looks like a lot of fun and a great ride. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Yvette & Dennis...This maybe the smallest in the World, we also have the largest Ferry Fleet in the World sailing Daily from Victoria(Swartz Bay) to the Mainland of BC near Vancouver.
You'll have to Plan a Holiday in Victoria :O))
