Friday's Fotos...Fred's Apple
Okay here's a challenge for all the fruit tree farmers out there.....yes you can ask one.
What Type of Apple is this..Hint it is very popular, a good keeper, juicy and tastes good.
The Apple is the only one on my 2 year old Dwarf Apple Tree in Victoria, British Columbia.
I'll have an answer ...Now it'll be Sunday Oct 25 :O))
Cheers

I'm not a farmer, but it looks like a cortland to me. I'm sure the answer is not that easy, but it's my answer! I am curious now!!!
Hi Ann..I'll wait a while, maybe tomorrow to reply to the answer.
Cheers, have a Great Friday :O)
Fred, Is it a red delicious by any chance? It looks red and delicious to me!
Hi Jane...I agree with you comment..but no prize you'll have to come back tomorrow :O))
Hello Fred, that's a good looking one. I'll go with Gala, and hope you have many abundant and tasty harvests. John
Fred - It looks like an locally grown organic apple. Delicious.
Hi John...Hopefully next year we'll have a crop of several nice Apples, they are ready late August, not the Normal October Season
Hi Marc...you'll have to wait to find out :O))
I think it is a fake apple!
LOL!!!
looks good
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
OK Fred, if we are back in August let's try the good old Gravensteins. John (love em in home-made applesauce)
Hi Charles...you might be right..I never had a chance to try it, my wife just told me about it.
Fred, I'm sorry to say I don't know :( I don't think it's Red Delicious because I thought they were bigger. Granny Smith are the only other apples I know and they're green. I'll be checking in tomorrow.
Hi Kathryn....mmm you Maybe Close, you can move to the front of the Contest but keep your books where you are just in case you need to move back.
Hi Carol...I won't know either if I had not planted the tress 2 years ago, but wife my can tell you she's the shopper and buys this variety often.
Hi Everyone...Best to check in Tomorrow Early to find out the Name of my Apple...there is still time to put in your Name...So far nobody has the right name for my Apple...Yet :O)
Good Luck !
Fred,
The shape makes it a red delicious but the color is more that of a gala. :)
Steve
Hi Fred,
I think its a gala because of the coloring. Then again....could be a Roma.
Chris
Hi Steve..you'll have to wait, but if I was you I'd try again :O))
Hi Chris...mmmm.doesn't sound right :O))
Cheers
Good Morni...Check out my Post Friday's Foto ...the name of Fred's Apple.
Thanks for entrying your Names...Have a Great Sunday !
