WORDLESS WEDNESDAY...SAMMY THE SEAL
While taking a Video shoot of the marine activity at out Victoria Fisherman's Wharf last Month, I also took some still photos of a local group of Harbour seals, one is nick named Sammy the Seal. Sammy and his friends hang around for free food from the Folks eating from the many venue's there, Such as Barb's Fish and Chips and Other food outlets.
With his Cute face ...most cannot resist giving him lots of attention, which results in lots of free (junk) food. I'm sure many of Locals and Tourists refer to many of the Harbour Seals as Sammy the Seal.

Very cool. Where were you that there were seals randomly swimming around?
They sure do look cute and cuddly, dont they? We dont get seals in NJ that often, but the do show up on occasion.
Very cute. Our sealions finally came home to Pier 39 in San Francisco.

Fred: Thanks for sharing- that's a great shot! :)
Fred: What a cute post... and a great picture. I am sure that Sammy will be thrilled that I have given him my "seal" of approval. <ducking>
Sammy's got it made with all that attention. A seal's life looks pretty good in BC.
He is soooo cute, Fred! I am sure he lives a very happy life - not sure about healthy, but I'm sure he's adjusted....
Ahhhh Fred! He's adorable! A bad diet, tho - hope he gets lots of exercise!

Fred, What a precious shot! We don't get to see Seals here so it was a real treat. I love God's creatures, they are so beautiful.
Fred - Do I see a resemblance or is it just the mustache :-)) .... Sad that the tourists feed them junk food.
Fred: Looks like Sammy knows how to live it up!
Hi John....I'm sure he will agree with you.

Hi Fred! Fisherman's Wharf must be an awesome place to live! What a great shot of Sammy!
Have a fabulous Friday...
Sammy the seal looks like he is quite the entertainer Fred!
Hi Debe...Lots of Live in house boats here.
Hi Bill...he knows what to do to get his food
What a cute guy! I used to work here at a restaurant that had an outside patio. It attracted the birds in the summer who got really rolly polly until it got cold and the patio shut down. Then they would thin down in the winter and just look in the windows. It was pretty sad actually that their food sources were cut off :(
Hi Renee...That's the problem with feeding Wild animals, they soon depend on us daily for their food supply!
