Fred, I bet that is a bit chilly this time of year! My dog would run right in, she loves the water too!
A hot summer day sounds very, very good to me, Fred!
Debi
Fred - your dog looks like he is having a good time. I know my dog would love to be there! Great photos!
Looks like a great place to relax on a hot day. I can't wait to have more of them! I can't imagine it's very warm up there in BC yet, though.
HI Robert...after being in the heat, this River is Very Cold.
Hi Debi...Come on Summer.
Hi Sharon...he's a true water dog, once a man called him a Dog Fish
Hi Carissa...It's warm and Sunny today, no coats
Fred - It's certainly not like our half frozen river in the back yard .... I did notice that some of the ice was breaking up just a little
Hi Kathy...Even though this river does not freeze, these photos were taking during the Summer
Howdy and mornen to ya Fred
Bring them there hot summer days on. That puppy dog sure is enjoyen the water.
Dogs are so funny with water, give them a bath, they freak, but darn it if it is a cold river or lake, they aren't going to pass up jumping in.

Fred, summer? Seems like it's a long way off, especially with the ground hog seeing his shadow and all that. Cute doggy!
Hi Fred, Todd's comment is so true. Perhaps it is because dogs like to smell like dogs ( not sure why, maybe that is the way God designed them). Defies our human logic but dogs don't have logic, only instincts. Spaniels in particular like water, except at bath time.
I had Yorkies that got acclamated to gettting their weekly grooming and didn't resist. But most dogs do resist, until that great day when they can play in the water or the pool. It is also funny that when we bath them, we do it warmer temp water not wanting them to get cold and yet they will jump into any frigid waters and don't seem to mind. Go figure.
Pictures like that really make me miss my dog, Whisky, my best pal ever.
Hi Dale...Ya Lets Get On with Summer :O))
Hi Todd And William...so True :O))
Hi Patricia...it's only a few months away...well maybe 4-5 Months :O))
Hi Bob...Winston is in his twilight years, he'll be 16 in May...I hear you, nice to have those memories:O))
Oh yea, I am ready for the dog days of summer
:-p
Hi Renee...Oh Yes, The Dog Days, we call this the Dog Holiday.
Fred: I love Winston! I simply love him. Oh how I miss my baby and she loved water too. Priceless moments with our beloved pets.
Hi Donna...Yes, Winstons days Padding in the water are over, so I'm glad I have these photos. He'll be 16 in May.
Fred: You ar so fortunate that Winston is having such longevity. I lost mine way too early at 14! Cheers to Winston!
Hi Donna...he certainly is in his twilight years, sorry you are still missing yours, it's hard to lose a friend, I expect this will be Winstons last Year..NOT looking forward to that day.
