This home is really going to benefit from staging.  Like many that are about to go on the market, it needs serious de-cluttering and some furniture re-arranging, as well as removal of some items.  I'm looking forward to your "after" photos to see the transformation!

Hi Fred, You're in great hands with Dana.  I took her course in Vancouver a while back, and she's a great instructor.  I've been out with her on several training homes as an alum, and she will deliver big time!  It's amazing how a home can be transformed, just using the owner's existing items.

Its a win/win situation and I think that whenever someone asks for help you should do your best to respond. 

I recently had a woman call me out of the blue, she was referred to me by another colleague in my network. She was thinking about getting her real estate license and wanted experience with handling files and thought about becoming an escrow coordinator first. She offered her services for free if I could train her.

To tell you the truth I was pretty busy and didn't have much time for her but I said yes and that I could give her an hour here and an hour there...turns out it was the best decision I could have made. Yes it took some time out of my scheduleto show her how I like the files set up, where the files were, what steps to take and how to update the calendars but now I have a someone that works for me for free, I don't have to worry about my files, it takes the load off my shoulders and she gets the training she is looking for. 

The beauty for me was that after she spent a couple of week with me, seeing how I work she asked me to come over to list her home because she said she was impressed with how meticulous I am in my work and the patience I had to walk her through all the intricacies and explain the details of a transaction. 

So the lesson learned is make the time to help someone out, even if its just a few moments or pointing them in the right direction.

Hi Everyone..I'm pleased to Report the Results look good, the Students worked 8 hours moving, preping and staging as much as they could. They invited me to drop by at the end of the Day..one word, Wow... the Rooms have a much more inviting feeling. I'll be taking new photos next week, so stay tuned :O))
