SUMMER TIME BRINGS OUT OUR BACK YARD LILIES
A short trip with my camera yesterday to my back yard..I
found our Lily in full bloom. I proceeded to take a close up Macro photo and Macro photo of the complete Lily.
Great Colours.
I saved these two photos or our Lily on my computer and resized the close up photo to 600 x 600.
This is the first year in our garden for this Lily
Enjoy :O)

HAVE YOUR BEST YEAR EVER IN 2012 !
Cheers

Beautiful lilly, Fred. Thank you so much for sharing the picture. Have a great weekend.
Hi Fred, A beautiful capture. A few years ago, I planted 30 Stargazer Lilly bulbs ( the all white variety) and they produced so many flowers the smell was totally amazing when you went out to the patio. ( At night especially). These lilies are my favorite flower, masculine and bold . The Pinks and white are of the same family.
Hi Vickie...Glad you enjoyed my photo, have a great weekend too
Hi William...They sure put on a great show, Jane has them planted around the yard, one in the front yard too, I think the Deer like it.
Cheers
Fred - It looks like a perfect Stargazer Lily to me. I have some of those as well, but they bloomed last month, and are finished now.
Hi Myrl...your weather is warmer sooner. You can come to Victoria for a break and I'll pick you up and show you around along with our Lily's in our yard.
Cheers
Calla Lillies are my favorite flower and second is the Stargazer! Hope you are enjoying your show!
Hi Renee...I think we'll have more next year, they really put on a good showing.
It's always a special joy when Mother and Father Nature acknowledge us by letting something grow and bloom in our back yards.
Hi Russel... Yes, we get to enjoy Mother and father nature every day if we just look around us.
