ARE YOU DOING VIDEOS OF YOUR LISTINGS FOR YOUTUBE
Another easy way to market your listings..... is to do a walk through the home talking while taking a video .Talk about the home,
then up load your video to YouTube. You'll be able to email the video to anyone, load the Video of your listing to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
I also load my YouTube Video into my MLS listing.
You Do Not need an expensive Video Camera..I use a small Exilim S880 Casio Camera, 8.1 Mega Pixels, it has a 3 x Optical zoom... easy to use and the voice is very clear.
Then the best part is the HTML code YouTube builds for you, then you can implant your listing Video in our Active Rain Posts and get Great SEO.
Consumers will find you and your New listing in Google from YouTube and your Active Rain Blog Post...How Cool Is That !
My Victoria home buying consumers love this easy way to learn about and see a property I have For Sale 24/7 !
Here is a Video I took last week of a New Condo Listing I have here on Rockland Ave in Victoria BC....
HAVE YOUR BEST YEAR EVER IN 2012 !
Cheers

We do this with some success. It still seems unless they really are interested in the hosue and have viewed it in person, they prefer to click through lots of photos as it is quicker here in La Quinta, California.
Hi Lori...I do Mutli-Pictures,Virtual tours and Video for our MLS and my web sites...I give lots of options for Consumers to view a home online 24/7. The best is implanting the video in my listing AR post for Google.
Cheers
Good idea as another stream of advertising for your listing. A little tip? show the best part of the hosue first - like the living room. Starting with the bathroom wasn't a very good "hook". It seems the rooms that will make them buy the home should be shown first, before you lose them.
Hi Sally...mmmm, I haven't started editing yet, trying to keep it simple. I just walk through the entrance into the home. My virtual tour does what you suggest.
Cheers, thanks for the tip :O))
Fred - truth is, its like the saying that the most effective mailing is the one with a stamp on it. Good, bad, or even "could be better" - none of that matters. You DID it, and it is effective.
Good job -
I'm chuckling to my self, however as I think of one video I saw for a listing once, where the agent didn't think to put the toilet seat down, or pick up the clients clothes from the bedroom floor. It truly did them a disservice.
Hi Sally.....So True, you really have to look at what you are videoing. Another neat video you can do, which I have done is drive throw a neighborhood showing the homes in that area and talk about Prices of homes, Parks, Schools, etc.
Cheers, thanks for stopping by again :O))
Fred, I'm still using still photos to do my youtube videos. Listening to myself is not something I'm comfortable with yet.
Hi Kay...my secret is to not face the camera point it at the Home or around an area while talking..try it.
Cheers
Hi Fred - Videos are the way to go these days. More and more people want to see them.
Fred, what a great idea and I am going to start that with every listing I have, Thanks
Ty
Videos and even "talk shows" help bring you up so high in google, not only that you allow your potential customers to get to know you and have a feel for the type of person you are :)
Thanks for the nudge, Fred. I always do virtual tours, but my one try at a walk-through tour was so lousy I haven't tried again.
I got a flip mino but unfortunately I don't have the listings. Standard listings here are very few and far between!
you have inspired me ..I am going to my listing with my flip to a video now ! thank you
Have Great Day !!!!

Hi Marc.....A video gives a purchaser a good idea of the layout and current condition of a home to View online 24/7
Hi Ty...Your Buyers will loveseeing the home through your eyes, and of course you can describe the home at the same time.
Hi Laura...so true, thanks for dropping by again :O))
Hi Gabrielle...just be you. I saw two Realtors on TV walk though their listing just as if the they were taking a Buyer into the home. A video allows more people to see the home and you get to talk about the home.
Hi Renee...borrow a listing from another Agent, ask if you can take a video and put the listing on your web site, or take a video of your latest sale...:O))
Hi Hannah...Go Girl Go.
Good luck with your listings, use one or more of your videos to show at your next listing presentation.
Hi Fred: Could've been the Flip I was trying. Ending up taking it back as the sound quality was so poor.
Thanks again!
Hi Gabrielle.....My Casio has great quality sound recording quality. YouTube offers an option to add music to your video if you do not wish to use your own sound recording.
Cheers
Fred, this is something that I really need to start working on. Thanks for the reminder...
Hi Michael...I'm sure you'll master it quickly.
Cheers
Just make sure that your video isn't one of the billions of bad videos on YouTube.
Hi Russel...I hope it's not bad, everyone that has seen said was positive.
