Oak Bay-Uplands Real Estate-Uplands Real Estate Review -August 2010
As we move toward September....... I thought I would review the Real Estate activities of Victoria's Mincipality of Oak Bay, in an area know by the locals as the Uplands, an area bordered by Cadboro Bay Rd to the North and West, Beach Drive to the East and Nottingham and Dorset to the South.

Single Family Sales since January in Oak Bay's Uplands district Total 22 with an Junaray 1,2010 to date Average Selling Price of $1,737,232 with an average of 47 days on the market.
It would appear Oak Bay's Uplands Single Family Real Estate sale prices are stable, and the days on the market have decreased.
Currently there are 12 Single Family Uplands Homes For Sale with an Average asking price of $ 2,435,000 ranging in price from $1,250,000 for a home on Upper Terrace and up to $5,990,000 for a waterfront estate on Beach Drive.
I drove through the Uplands on along Beach Drive and took photos of the homes to give you an idea of the Quaintness and Character of the Uplands and the Uplands Homes.
History of The Uplands of Oak Bay, is an upper-class neighbourhood located in the north east part of the Municipality of Oak Bay, British Columbia, between the neighbourhoods of Cadboro Bay and Willows Beach. Uplands is a prominent example of a garden suburb designed in the early part of the 20th century.Oak Bay was once part of the Hudson Bay Trading Company's Pacific Northwest Holdings and 1st settled by the Songhees First Nation
