On The Labour Day Weekend we went to the 141 st Annual Saanich Fair,
it is Western Canada's Oldest Continuous Agricultural Fair.
The Local News Paper indiacted there would be 60,000 people in attendance over the three day weekend. it was held at the Saanich Fairground, I'm sure they were right.

Hi Kathy...The fair was a Huge Success again this year, our weather was cloudy with Sunny periods so it was not real hot, perfect day.

Hi Carol...great politicking on my part. I let Jane's Girl friend Geri ask if she would like to go to the Fair. I still cannot believe she agreed to go with 60,000 people bumping into us all day. Great Family event lots of Kids and stuff for Kids to see and do.
How's New York, My neighbors just came back, they had a great time went to a couple of Broadway shows, a couple of Yankee Games and did some sight seeing.

Fred - Love the photos, looks like a good time. My favorite flower is the blue hydrangea, what color! I'm constantly amazed by nature.

Hi Bill...the two old dears serving the ice cream and black berries were making a ton, She Scooped the ice cream and he put in a healthy scoop of berries(he picked that morning) and smiled as you handed them $3. I'm sure they took in a enough to start a new retirement fund.

Fred - we did not get to take a lot of photos while I was there ... inclement weather ... But some of the Photos my Daughter entered in the photo contests won some prizes.

Fred: These are awesome photos and what great fun. I can't believe Labor Day has already come and gone. Love the sign about the wascally wabbits but I think those veggies look so yummy that I would just have to touch them. I know this had to be great fun.

My best friend always enters their black berries and usually wins 1st place. This Year they thought their crop was not too great so they did not enter them...then they went to the fair and saw everyone else's Black Berries were small this year(due to our Cold and wet Spring)...soooo we're getting together this Friday to be Wascally and drink my friends Beer, have lunch and pick his award winning Black Berries before some Wabbit gets them.
